Ziffler: identity for a home appliance and electronics producer (Uzbekistan)

Context: Ziffler is one of Uzbekistan's largest private-label manufacturers of home appliances and consumer electronics. The company offers a wide range of home appliances, from refrigerators, washing machines and air conditioners to small electronic devices. The brand recognition in the national B2B segment reaches nearly 90%. In over 10 years of its history, the company's products have also entrenched themselves in the daily lives of thousands of families.

Consumers value the trademark for the combination of premium functions and reasonable prices. The brand offers not just home appliances, but smart solutions adapted to the real-life conditions in Uzbekistan. 

They came to Depot after they decided to carry out an ambitious update of the product line, which necessitated rethinking the company's corporate style. The brand needed to draw consumers to its new products and cement its status as an innovation leader in the category.

Solution: We developed a new Ziffler logo, preserving a high contrast black-and-white palette as a nod to continuity. At the same time, we used a new bold font and moved away from all caps: a combination that eased perception and increased the logo's visual weight. The blue-purple dot over the letter i was a key element of the update, giving a touch of friendliness and openness to the no-nonsense design, in line with the brand's accessible positioning.

The brand palette combines deep blue and purple tones with an achromatic base and metallic accents. The resulting identity emphasizes technological prowess and helps the brand differentiate from its competitors; it can be adapted seamlessly to all kinds of media, including product packaging and advertising surfaces.

Verbal communications complement the visuals: we developed bold slogans in English that broadcast the brand's modern edge and support the global ambitions of this Uzbek trademark.
